Interest in PvP?

Just curious, but how many of you will be primarily interested in SWTOR's pvp. Be it Warzones, one of the 2 announced PvP Areas, or even just straight up World PvP?

Personally I am very interested in, and enjoyed all aspects of TOR's PvP during the Beta Weekends.

I will be focused mainly on PvP. I will work a little on PvE, but PvP, along with recruiting, will be my main focus.

I said war zones AND not interested, because while i may try the occasional war zone, for the most part i'm going to avoid PVP, I much prefer PVE content.

My main concern is hitting level 50, but in off time and downtime I am more than happy to pvp.

What he said not much ♥ for modern pvp, oh how I miss DAOC pvp... so yeah pve for me.

I might do some Warzones from time to time, but I'm not a fan of world PvP in games where the outcome is almost solely based on gear and level. Not to mention there's no point to it apart from causing grief. At least in some MMOs, it was a method of your faction conquering a territory or some such.

My focus will be 90% PvE, as my main draw in games like these is story, raiding and having fun with other people without having it at the expense of defenceless people. I have yet to understand the satisfaction gained from hitting two skills and killing someone half your level.

I dont think I will be interested much in PVP. Especially if the PVP areas only have a max population of like 5v5 or 10v10... I want some 30v30 or something

Looks like the majority of people are in for a shock with a PvP server.

I love PvP actually (WoW helped that), but I like it on my terms (BGs, Arenas, etc). World PvP isn't my thing.

For the majority of you, don't forget, on several planets / areas, you won't have a choice to play "just" PvE content, if it is a contested area, guess what? You're playing PvP whether you like it or not.

Depending on how hardcore this PvP server will be (you know what I mean, on many PvP servers you get the guilds that go out "head-hunting" in packs), be prepared to quest only in a group.

I totally understand what u mean Branaddar, killing some one half your lv get s old really fast, unless they were doing it to you(which creates the cycle), but what i love about PvP, and is useful in every multiplayer game. strategy. esp world PvP, when 2 guilds or big groups of ppl(same lv, and some times not, lower lvs become fodder : P) get on vent and such and organize, and raid towns and have big battles between, now that is fun, did that a few times in WoW, around xroads and such, some of the best times i had.
