Hey guys,

So as SW:TOR is quickly approaching release, I wanted to get an idea of who is wanting to help with recruiting on both Republic and Empire.

I am thinking we could try to have a meeting Friday at around 8 eastern. I a lot of people will be out, but if you can make it then great. It should only be a quick 10-15 minute meeting just to let you guys know what we are thinking about for recruiting upon release, see who is all interested in helping with recruiting and if you have any ideas it's a good time to voice them.

If you can't make it send me a message/pm on here. I will also try to post most of what we cover later.

I've been PMing LFGuild people on the forums for a while now. Don't know if I got a anyone though. So many clans recruiting on the official forums O.O

It's hard to recruit right now on the forums for several reasons.
1. you don't know what server you're going to be placed on.
2. PvE, or PvP servers believe it or not make a huge world of difference on whether someone wants to join you or not.
3. People are going to want to play where their friends play, even if LFG, they'll want to play in a guild on a server their friends play on, which who can blame them.
4. Raiding and structure, which hasn't really been set up in a official capacity yet due to the game not being out until the 13th officially for early release.
5. Lack of information about the guilds and the choices available to them. While i see a lot of people's guilds advertising for more players and getting people to join, they offer very little incentive and or reasoning for wanting to join their guilds.
I think for us, we need to stand out a tad more on the forums for someone to want to join us rather than them.

just a few thoughts, not all might be accurate, but based on my personal observations while checking out forum recruitment threads.

I will be recruiting. But I have finals when the Early Release Starts, so I may miss the first day or so, but I will be on after the 15th.

I got quite a few RL friends going to be playing I have been working on recruiting them they want to get a feel of the game first though.

I've been able to get a few people during beta to join us, so I'll do whatever I can to get more people here.

Hey guys. A little late but going to cancel the meeting for this evening.

Been busy with school, not many people on vent at the time and probably can just as easily make a post. So I'll just write what I wanted to say in a post this weekend and we'll bring up the rest at ART or a proper SW:TOR specific meeting.
