I saw the announcement their facebook page posted. COMPLETELY stoked to try it out! Looks good too!

Developed by Bioware and with Frostbite 2 no less. Also a 2013 release, like half the games at the VGAs.

It nice to see a continuation of the Generals Series.
But,
Where is my real, good ending for the Tiberium series? Not this WiC ripoff that is C&C4.

[XavierB]

Oh awesome! Thanks for the update

Whats Generals 2?

[Boo-Yeah!!]

I really really hope they have a better way of playing online. Thats the one thing I have always hated about Command and Conquer games... their online mulitplayer is always a pain to get connected with other people. Ususally it involves opening up ports and changing things in your router...

My dad and I bought C&C The First Decade and due to some unfixable issue we could not play together at all which really bummed us out as we are both Generals fans.

My dad still plays the game every day, he absolutely loves it. Just single-player against bots. I enjoy the game too but haven't played it in awhile.

Will be keeping an eye on this one, that's for sure!

Usually the community fixes those kind of online issues, or at least try to.

Believe me I scoured the Internet, granted this was a few years ago but last I knew the issue was unfixable.

Oh and before I forget

Whats Generals 2?

Raul, Generals is a Real-Time Strategy game very similar to the other games in the C&C franchise. They took a break from Red Alert and their original property and branched off in 2002 with Generals.

Generals was themed fairly modern, with a 3-way faceoff between the US, China and a made up group to represent a type of terrorist coalition, the GLA. It was pretty cool, just different enough from their previous titles, and tons of fun.

I don't remember if you're into RTS games or not, but if you are and somehow haven't played anything Command & Conquer, you're missing out. I'd recommend checking them out!
