Not everyone preordered early enough to get in, not everyone will be playing hardcore, and people roll alts all the time.
You keep going on about this like every single player in the game will be 50 within a week and then if you're not you're going to be ostracized. It's getting kinda old.

Something I have been excited for so long and wanted to be hardcore in and I'm not gonna be. I played WoW for a bit and once I hit the max level it was pretty much impossible to get in a good established raid guild. I just hate being left out.
Nos, I don't know when you played WoW (Vanilla/BC/LK etc.), but when a game is in its infancy (first few years of WoW) Finding a good raiding is not much of a worry (I know from experience in WoW), the main factor is skill and dedication. If you plan on raiding with eGO, you will not have to worry about being left out of raids, if you don't i am sure you will find a good raiding guild, just get to 50 before February, and it will be almost guaranteed.

Just received my email and i will be playing right as soon as the servers go live for early access. Like you I also preordered the day it was announced it was open for pre-orders! I got mine done within the first 10 minutes of them leaking the news! But then again, i've also been following the development of this game for a long time coming!

Sweet, I pre-ordered the afternoon of release...nothing in inbox. I guess that means no tomorrow? Or is it an hour by hour basis type thing?

got mine at 12:45 AM, so maybe they're doing hourly? I dunno. I won't be able to play until later today though

nope, it was the official confirmation email for early release for me to start. It says right now when opening the launcher the game is not available to play, but that error code that i used to get has now gone away.
It said "There is currently no active subscription on this account. Activate your account here."
That message is now gone! We'll see at 7am i'll try logging in before i head to work.. if i can log in and play i may just call off.
The only other thing i can think of is someone slipped and sent the first batch of emails early, because i'm seeing on facebook someone in Arizona who ( i live in new york) also got a confirmation email as well. Maybe a glitch?

Before the forums went down, there was an official announcement from Bioware that they would not be sending the e-mail out after the one you received went out. They told us to basically wait at the release date and try to log in. The systems at the time were not capable of e-mailing everyone, so the e-mail you got was nothing more really then annoucing the release date/time. If you did not get your e-mail you were looking for *snicker, c wut I did thar* I would still attempt to log in at the annouced time(s).
