Greetings eGO family,
I have been trying to connect to the 2Fort server this morning, but sadly I have been unsuccessful. It appears someone has added a video to the splash screen, which causes my box to lock up. I have a humble quad core gaming box and I respectfully request that further testing be done or have this video be removed. I am not sure if this a recruiting campaign video or news release, but are we sure this makes sense to load on this server? Thanks in advance for your help..

I am sure activate is right but it may just be another update for the Australian Christmas chaos.

Fixed :P

Actually I think Acti is right, for two reasons. First, this makes sense. Adobe updates stuff all the time. Miss one, or six in the past week, and you could be in for some compatibility errors. Secondly, Activate is a TF2 advisor and they don't normally fill the position with inerudite, benighted, empty-headed noobs*

*excepting myself of course...and xosniper...and MisterAdam, and Aneruen, trykael, Toilet Pastries, RESPAWN, ScrappyDoo, NCA, iGreen; heck, about the only decent advisor we had prior to the current crop was TcVinsky. And all she did was tell people to shut up. Which is actually really really helpful if you think about it.
 
Updated flash and I am still having problems connecting to the server. Could we temporarily take the video down for 24 hours and see if that resolves the issue? Could someone also share what is the critical need to have the video up before you pick a class on the server? Please forgive me if this has already been discussed at the last division meeting.

Go to Advanced Options -> Under "Performance Options" -> Check "Disable HTML MOTDs"
