Steam Holiday Sale 2011

Valve also is having two promotions that will give the opportunity to rack up some sweet gifts. The Great Gift Pile gives objectives each day, similar to how to the Steam Summer Camp worked. Completing these objectives gives you one of three things- discount coupons, free games, or a lump of coal.

For every lump of coal you have, you will have one entry into the Epic Holiday Giveaway. The grand prize of the giveaway is every game on steam.

What a great gift pile of ....nothing. 2 days of deals, all super weak deals on super weak games. I am not impressed so far this year. Not impressed at all.

Anyone want my -50% off Patrician IV and -33% off any Valve game coupons? I don't have an income at the moment so they're absolutely worthless to me as I don't have any money would have rather gotten the coal which is apparently exceedingly rare from what I've heard. I'd prefer a trade offer but if I don't get one whatever... its useless to me either way.

I'm so pissed with DICE and EA. I bought BF3 off of Origin, installed it, played it for about an hour and a half, then, crash. BSOD, followed by cold boot. Now, it trys to load my level in Operation Guillotine, then pukes and says, "Something Went Wrong." Really, how helpful. Tried the repair icon, nothing, same thing happens. Have to delete origin and bf3, then reinstall both and start from scratch. It is so damn buggy. Anyone else having bf3 nightmares?
