Since my contract is gonna end in a week I was thinking getting a new cell phone but i am in AT&T At the moment and i was thinking going with Sprint and i looked threw there phones and the phones i had my eyes on are the

the Reasons i want theses phones

Samsung Galaxy S? ll, Epic? 4G Touch
Its fast & can do everything for Free
and talk on the phone is 8.7hours
Dislike i used Driods before and they die fast
in 3hours - 6hours
or
iphone 4S
8MP
The look and Music player & Sound
8hour talk time
Dislike
Iphone Plug in
Most Apps Cost money
They Crack easy

What phone would you guys recommend me
PS:i want a phone that lasts a while and has good sound for music
 
Depends.......are you techy and like to do things like rooting, custom roms, kernels, etc....If so, then you'll want the Galaxy S II.

Battery life is no competition, iPhone will win. iPhone is super easy and simple to use also, sound quality is the best in terms of using headphones etc...buy a bumper case if your afraid of cracking it anything you drop will be harmed be it iphone or android.

I had the iPhone 4 but decided to swap it out for a international galaxy s II in white cuz i missed all the customization and hacking i did with my original galaxy S. Battery life definitely isn't as good, but it gets me through a day, just charge every night anyway.

It's down to personal preference and what you want, if your not into all the customizing and stuff, go with the iPhone.

Btw, the 4s data speed is faster if you stick with AT&T than sprint or verizon. Sprint/verizon have super slow 3G networks compared to HSPA+ on AT&T.

it isn't on sprint or ATT, and he is switching to sprint becuase he wants lower prices.

Switching to Verizon doesn't sound like something he wants to do. Otherwise, Nexus all the way.
 
I just got my Galaxy S2 skyrocket with ATT but i'm having iphone withdrawals. I'm debating if I'm going to trade it back in for the iPhone 4s or not.
 
I got the Motorola Droid RAZR around Thanksgiving Day. Definitely an upgrade from the Droid Eris. And I did receive confirmation that the RAZR will get ICS Q1 2012. Also got my data plan grandfathered in, and my bill is definitely the same, and it was automatically upgraded from 3G to 4G. Roughly about $70/mo. Definitely liking my new phone.

Do you have any suggestions on things to do with it? I have it set up fairly to my liking, but i'm debating on rooting and such.

My iPhone withdrawls have gone away but it seems like there are a lot of nice phones coming out withing the next month or so.

I have until Jan 17th to do the 30 day return policy with ATT and get a new phone, so we shall see.
 
Stay away from apple. Their patenting of "ideas" is getting out of control, and may lead to a market shift away from legitimate competition.

Those are my picks. All of them are beastly 4G phones. Personally, I have a Droid X2, and it's a fantastic phone, but it only has 3G capabilities. Whatever you do, don't get a phone with only 3G. It is more than adequate to watch youtube videos and listen to streaming music, but otherwise, it is slow. That being said, almost all 3G phones nowadays have great battery life. Just make sure you get Advanced Task Killer if you get an android phone. That will save your battery life more than you know.

Also, I don't know where you live, but check Sprint's coverage in your area. I use verizon, and while they are very expensive for a phone carrier, I can go virtually anywhere and have full 3G coverage. I'm talking anywhere in Alabama of all places. Trust me, I've tried, and except for a couple small areas, I cannot lose coverage. About 95% of the time, I have a strong enough signal to stream Pandora radio, and that's more than enough for me.

i find using ATK decreases battery life. Since 2.2 android has been able to stop/start processes effectively on its own. Most of the time if you close something with ATK, it will just start again, wasting even more battery. Add that to the battery penalty you take from running ATK in the first place, it really isn't worth it.

The only thing i use ATK for is to close stuff that has stopped responding, or cannot otherwise be closed.
 
In sound quality, I would say Iphone4s. Including with the earphones it comes with, you get pretty good sound quality.I also think Siri is the best I have seen in how fast the voice control is, and accurate it picks up what you say
 
Just a update im gonna wait a little probley a month or so then im gonna get the iphone 4s not cuz its the best phone just because you have less to do with it and my Battery wont die as fast

I wouldnt say switching to sprint because of lower prices, i switched from sprint to AT&T because att had lower prices than sprint did. Not to mention in michigan sprint service is absolutely terrible.
