eGO best maps server idea

I have an idea:

Since our servers are almost all dedicated to only 1 map/house and there the respective housemembers play excl. on "their" server,why not trying to attract ALL eGO ppl into 1 server ?

advantage:

- we would bring ALL eGO members more together,instead of splitting them/binding them on 1 server,where their preffered housemap runs 24/7

-we would use our servercapabilities more flexible

-eGO members would get a more widespreaded view of DoD maps and the variety of DFoD custommaps too


Why not setting up 1 server with the favorite housemaps (ava,donner,kalt,santos) +1 or 2 extra wishmap(s) /house,which could change monthly after a vote inside a house??


Since the Strandserver isn´t a real housemapserver,we could use this ??!!

None of the servers is a "housemapserver"... they are all eGO servers. Therefore there are also no housemaps - only homemaps for the scrims but that system will be abolished next season.

Getting rid of the strand server is also a bad idea imo cause it runs fine and is more often full than some of our other servers.
