If you truelly want to change the server you need to add more options. Its not a two fort vrs. Valve maps debate...it should be what server would you support more debate. I suugest if you realy want two fort to be changed you add more options to your poll.

I've decided to come back and add more options to the poll. If there was relative interest shown towards the map, I've added it.

Overall, a map rotation with rtv options would be best. I know that playing on a 24/7 single map server gets very boring very quickly for me, which is why I prefer a rotation.

We can keep a few of the Valve Map regulars, like Dustbowl, Turbine, Warpath, Goldrush, Granary, Badwater Basin etc, but adding a couple custom maps to the mix would help liven it up a bit. Keep the rtv function in it! If the server population dies down, you can change it if the players aren't happy with the map. The more map options, the better.

It's very hard to do a custom map rotation without the specified custom maps... It's like saying "I want a sandwich."

How about a rotation server with all the good maps that a lot of people miss? Like Turbine, Steel, Dustbowl, Gpit (just to name a few). The only thing I suggest is not to have a lot of maps on it, say maybe like 6 maps tops. My 2 cents.

I do like the idea of custom maps rotation. It can be a good way for people to see more maps then the typical 2-3 that people see day to day.

To make it clear, a custom map rotation is a rotation of CUSTOM MAPS. Not a CUSTOM map rotation.

In any case, I agree with Ayako in that RTV will keep things fluid. I also agree with Frisky about including Turbine in the rotation.

No one has answered my question from the previous thread: why is our ping lower on Foundry compared to other eGO servers at the moment? Is the Foundry server in a different location or is the map making a difference?
