This is also in the Scrim Info forum, but not everyone reads that regularly, so I'm posting here as well. The Semi-Finals begin tomorrow, and so our current season is basically winding down. Season 2 will begin in June, with the start of the summer, so you all will have more time to play.
2 important changes are taking place that you need to know about.
1. Scoring will be done via total points, not full captures. Thus, the team that holds the most flags, the longest, wins. Those that do happen to full cap will be awarded an extra 50 points on top of their score. This should prevent the HUGE number of ties we've had.
2. Home maps are being eliminated. No house will have a home map for the next season. Instead, we will have a "map of the week", that all houses will play on. This keeps matches fair because each house plays on the same map each week. All the eGO favorites like Ava, Donner, Kalt, etc, will of course each get a week, but no map will be played more than once in the season, and no House will have a specific map for themselves.
3. No whining. No complaining. No disrespect. This has been an issue all season... and we will enforce this like you wouldn't believe.
