Gold/Ten Runes Worth It?

I love playing support champs but I can't decide if I want to run gold / ten Yellows and Quints. That's 5 gold just from runes every 10 seconds, then I could get kage's, hog, philo stone, that's 20 gold every 10 seconds.

Is it worth replacing my mana regen/armor yellows and movespeed quints for 20 gold every 10 seconds?

I'm a fan of supports as well and I think its good to take GP Quints. Since you are low on farm, you're able to combine this with your other items like Kage's, Philo's, HoG, etc.

Just my two cents though.

Support I would say no don't get Gold runes because you are almost always there getting assists and getting that extra gold but it is up to you.

Yes, you dont get or ever get CS unless its an empty lane, you're dependant on that gold income, so more you have, more wards/items.

yup fully support the GP quits, imo quints are the only runes i'd put into GP, rest would be armor and MR to survive longer, even mana regen.

Quints are always worth it. Yellows are only debatably worth it over armor yellows if you already have armor reds.

100% yes yes yes on the quints. I've never used the gp/10 yellows and have had enough gold on my first buy to get philo + t1 boots with just passive play and no CS.

I bought the quints, going for the yellows now. I think having the 20 gold / ten is going to be more beneficial. I have 16 rune pages now so I need to expand my rune collection anyways. Next on my list, attack speed blues.

you know if you cut the bottom half of that GIF off it's quite disturbing.

unless you play soraka. then you run ap/lvl glyphs.
