Unfortunately I lied. Kinda. So I bought it as a digital download from game stop (only because I had a gift card) and then shit myself when I say that game stop's little download client needed 42 gigs to install a 16 gig game so... being that I only have 60 gigs on my SSD, I said 'kthx no pls' and moved on to a direct download via origin. Long story short 3 complete un/re installs, literally the most beta/current driver build I could have, combined with 20+ years of wasting my life on computer games... I just could not get the fucking thing to run. It just idles on 'loading'. I even installed that disaster of a browser IE9 or 10 or what ever. Dirtied my system in an effort to get it to run. No luck. So after several hours my desire to play was finally over taken by desire to do something other than fix a busted game. I have asked game stop for a refund. In the off chance that EA fixes this thing before game stop answers my fucking emails, I'll keep it. But from what I read on the forums, they don't give a ****. But more importantly to me is the fact that EA is data mining. Took time to read the EULA....

Yeah... I don't really want them collecting unlimited information on my system. That's a big mood killer for me. I ended up getting Arma II. It's fucking great. I was a huge Operation Flashpoint junkie back in the day. Not a big fan of the new Op Flashpoints. Arma II is like old school Op Flashpoint. Not trying to promote the game here I get this is a BF forum. But we don't have a Arma division, so, if any of you play it... I would love a recommendation of a clan to join. Do not want to end up playing with a bunch of Russian 14 year old clowns. Sorry it didn't work out. BF1942 was my love for many years along side Soldier of Fortune II.
