I think it's time to give the community something a bit more than "This processor, that fan, this case, and that RAM". I currently serve two seats for my company as the technical lead for our internal and escalation TAC as a supervisor for both our Cisco and Microsoft teams. Since I really enjoy what I do, I figure, why not let eGO take advantage of my areas of expertise.
So, eGO... If you have general networking, Cisco IOS, or Windows Server issues... I have a ton of experience and I would be more than happy to help you! I wont promise to fix all of your problems because I definitely do not know everything there is to know. I do have a massive amount of experience to bring to the table. So, please feel free to rely on me if you have problems that you would like a second set of eyes to look at.
Here's a list of my proficiencies available for you:
-- Cisco Systems
- Security (PIX/ASA, VPN, IDS, IPS)
- Routing and Switching (RIP, EGRIP, OSPF)
-- Microsoft Windows Server (2000, 2003, 2008, 2011, All versions of SBS)
- Active Directory/Directory Services Security and Replication
- Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010
- SQL
- ISA
- IIS 5.x and later
-- General Network Infrastructure
- LAN/WLAN and Microwave Technologies
- Infrastructure Design, Planning, and Project Management
NOTE: INB4 UNIX this and Linux that, followed by MS Hatred... I am an Engineer in the real world. The real world uses Unix, Linux, and Apple for making things look pretty, and running websites. In some large environments Unix is used (most frequently) for AS/400 and Oracle-based data systems. You will notice that I have not listed any of that in my proficiencies. I dont care if you're an awesome Unix/Linux/SuperMac guy/gal. This isnt a flame post. I'm offering to help the community with the skills that I have to bring to the table. So, please, don't waste your time posting about how much you love RedHat, Apache, Debian, and compiling your own kernel unless you want to extend your willingness to offer your professional services as well.
