What series should I start reading?

What series did you guys find the most interesting?

Keep in mind I already read The Bounty Hunter Wars.

X-Wing series I enjoyed the most. Wedge Antilles and Rogue Squadron. Starts after the Battle of Endor and the reformation of Rogue Squadron. Fifth book of the series is the Wraith Squadron series. And the characters in that squad... Had some good laugh moments.

I think there's about 8 or 9 books in that series.

Yeah. I've bought the first 3 books in that series for my dad.

Any other suggestions. Gift cards for Christmas is fun =D

Yuuzhan Vong series. Takes place roughly... 30-40 years after A New Hope, if I got the timeline right. YV series is a very lengthy book series. Dozen books easy. The Solo kids all grown up.

I've read almost every Star Wars book written. My favorites were the Grand Admiral Thrawn Trilogy and the X-Wing Series.

I liked the Republic Commando series, I'm sure they must have came out with new ones for that series since I last read it, the 3rd book is the last one I read. The young Jedi knights and new Jedi order were good series (granted I haven't read all of the njo series) aswell. I enjoyed seeing what was going on in the star wars universe after the final movie

I was thinking of dabbling with some of the books, myself. I've never read any of them. I think I'd be most interested in ones that take place in the Old Republic, or are focused on Jedi/Sith more than space battles and such.

I get more interest out of political intrigue and the whole Force thing than high action.

I'm going to look into the Admiral Thrawn series. I also pre-ordered the Darth Plagueis book(always wanted to know more about him). Has anyone read the books for TOR? The reviews I saw on them said they sucked but I don't really trust randoms who write on B&N.

Thrawn is a good set. My other favorites are the Darth Bane trilogy, details a lot about sith philosophy and makes them seem a little less like total lunatics and see why their such dicks to each other. Granted though its hundreds of years after the TOR series and is actually about the start of the new sith philosophy that would later give rise to Darth Sidious thousands of years later.

Now that sounds good. I might pick up the Bane books. Always been interesting in the sith.
