Just started Half-Life

Just started the Half-Life series. I've always had it just never played it.

Anyone have any tips on how to play the first game with a good video card? My lappy seems to crash a few times while playing it. I using the software option in the video settings; I didn't get anywhere with OpenGL... :facewall:

Half-Life is a great game As for your little problem...I can't help.

you need a regular video card (64mb or more) to play on OpenGL

Half-life was my first FPS game enjoy the history and the gameplay mate ;D

half-life - the game and series and ultimatly the publisher that will always have my heart as my favorite. I can't tell you how much I love the game, enough that i've set my own speed play record of 52 minutes....i think the record somewhere is like 48 so yeah.

the renderer is very old, you may just have to let it be figity.

if you don't like it i can't force you - but i can be a bully about it
