Cassette to Mp3 Adapter

Ok this is for my 96 Explorer. I bought a Cassette to Mp3 converter for my car so i play my ipod and such. But i have a problem the audio only comes thorugh one side of my speakers

When i listen to the radio is plays through both sides

I bought one before this one, did the same thing...got it stolen...tried my brothers...did the same thing....bought another one did the same thing. It does it with any Mp3 player.

Why am i getting only mono?

it sounds like it's the type of adapter or the input from the cassette into your car's sound system. maybe try a different adapter found [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Coby-CA-747-Position-Cassette-Adapter/dp/B00006JPFU]here[/ame]
