EdgeGamers and the Battlefield Division invites anyone willing to play with fellow battlefield soldiers to take up arms and battle for glory in the new Alienware Arena winter season tournament.

You do not need to be an expert or super soldier to participate, just being part of EdgeGamers and having Battlefield 3 qualifies you to join this endeavor.

Eligibility: Residents of USA, Mexico, and Canada (Excluding Quebec) that are 13 years of age or older.

Mode: 8v8 Conquest
Winter Season: December 1 - January 29, 2012
Invitational Tournament: Feb 4 - Feb 15, 2012
Top 32 Ladder teams move on to the Invitational
Prizes: $2,000

AWA Match: Insane Elite Gamers Wed, Jan. 4th @ 8:00 PM CST

I'm back, winter break is done, which means exams are coming up, but I should be able to make it more often than not. Sorry about the lack of attendance. My good computer was in pieces for most of the time. :/

So I read that if you dont show up for practices you cant play in the match the next day well i cant make thursdays i can make the other 6 days of the week and i have never missed any of my games plus i stepped in for other squads so how is this really fair for me?

Can you make Tuesdays? The main point of putting that rule in place is so that we know what we are doing/have set roles for each player and honestly the rule is not set in stone. Also FYI 2 people who did show up to practice and were scheduled to play ended up not being able to come to Wed. match so we had to replace em with subs, one who was @ practice and one who was not and honestly was the only person online @ the time of the match so we let him play. So come to practices if you can and those who do will get preference over others but we will not make it a requirement play in a match. But if you want any chance at all to play in a match you should honestly show up an hour before the match, we should NOT have to hunt down players for a match.

Based on this week of schedule for AWA is going to likely be this (subject to change):

Monday: Off-day
Tuesday: Practice on Scheduled Map @ 8pmCST (1-2hrs)
Wednsday: Auto Scheduled Match @ 8pmCST
Thursday: Practice on Scheduled Match @ 8pmCST (1-2hrs)
Friday: Off-day
Weekend: 1 Scheduled Match on Sat. or Sun

Regarding matches, we ask that those who plan to participate pls show up at least an hour before the match

To echo what Vertago said, we have dedicated times for everything that we do. You are expected to be there and on time for those events if you want to remain an active member of this team. Other matches and/or practices will not be mandatory.
