These awards represent the highest recognition within a division and are awarded to one member of each division. </td><td valign="center">With a desire to expand from supporting only Half Life 2 mods, the MOD division was renamed to FPS:X. The FPS:X division soon began to support First Person Shooters such as Crysis 2 and Brink. The FPS:X division would later be renamed again in September as the division continued to grow further.</td></tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">
</td><td valign="center">Recognize the picture to the left? It’s probably because it’s Ill Legend's avatar. After the poll results came out revealing that CS:S accounted for 25% of eGO's membership, Council felt it was time to bring up another Council member to better support the Division. Ill Legend was the proper person to take on the task and accepted the Divisional Council position.</td></tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">
</td><td valign="center">The Strategy division hosted a 5v5 League of Legends tournament that was open to the public. The tournament winners received a prize package from the tournament sponsor, Riot Games, the creators of League of Legends.</td></tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">
</td><td valign="center">Team Fortress 2 went Free to Play FOREVER. The popular first person shooter, also known as Fashion Fortress 2, was free for anyone to play on Steam. The TF2 Division modified their servers for the change and since have enjoyed explosive growth and activity within the Division.</td></tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">
</td><td valign="center">EdgeGamers Organization turned 5 years old! During the anniversary blast, we promoted a total of 300 admins in eight of our divisions. A long list of awards followed including two Medals of Honor, eGO’s highest accolade, that went to Leftenent and iamevilbear. The birthday event was also ushered in with THREE WHOLE DAYS OF EVENTS! A sad moment for eGO occurred as well. GardenGrove made the decision to step down from his Community Manager position in order to focus on real life worries and concerns.</td></tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">
</td><td valign="center">After encountering problems with the website domain owner, the Community Managers with the support of Council decided to switch domains to Edge-Gamers.com. After the switch, upper leadership reached out to the community to assist with our legal fees - starting the Legal Support drive. </td></tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">
</td><td valign="center">For quite some time, Spray had been a dynamic leader for the Day of Defeat division while also being the go-to guy that Leadership could rely on whenever server assistance was needed. Because of Spray’s successful leadership of the Day of Defeat division and the assistance he provides all divisions, the Community Managers recognized that he was already acting at a Council level and therefore easily made the decision to offer him a Council position, which he accepted. </td></tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">
</td><td valign="center">Who is that weird looking guy? Oh it’s USCG Hammer! The Community Managers began to realize that the delegation of certain responsibilities was a necessity so they could better focus on expanding EdgeGamers as a community. The position of Director of Operations was created as a role that would have a individual work under the community managers and alleviate responsibilities from them. The man chosen for the job was USCG Hammer with Rocko as his alternate.</td></tr><tr><td valign="center" width="225">
</td><td valign="center">As Day of Defeat grew it was evident that another council member was needed to ensure that the division runs at its best. The council team felt that C-Whit was the proper individual to bring up to the council level to take on the task at hand.To close out December, eGO wished everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays with a naughty or nice promotion list.</td></tr></table>
