Valve Maps is Back!

I think we should ALL get a prize if we can get it to the 700's by the end of the month. But that's just me.

But really. We can ABSOLUTELY get it to the 700's (or lower?) by the end of the month. It'll just take effort. EFFORT?! WHAT IS THIS?! Believe me, I know that feeling. But it's WORTH IT! Heck, I'll give a random person in the division a random prize if we make it. Sound fair? Sounds fair to me!

Note: We are currently sitting at 834th. I expect us to be at HIGHEST 699th as of 00:00 GMT, Jan. 31, 2012 for this random prize that I will magically procure to take shape.

Spidey updated the server to include cp_Egypt, as well as a plugin that doesn't consider spectators for RTVing. So now you can RTV to dustbowl or something to fill the map even when people are speccing.

PLEASE keep idling!

I don't want the server's rank to fall for a third night in a row, even if it's only by a small number.

I've noticed that even though it's full most of the day it's hard to go up in rank on the weekends. But during the week when it's not normally full during the first half of the day it goes up a lot in rank. So if we could get the server full during the week days in the morning, it will help it go up in rank a lot.

Yes, I noticed this too. The only reason it didn't go up this weekend is because it was 100% empty most of Friday, and then yesterday it emptied for 1-2 hour segments three times.

Gotta prevent that stuff.

You guys have to stop kicking idlers, unless it's hot time for the servers (nighttime on weeknights, afternoons and nights on weekends). I checked my iPad today when I had a 30 minute break for class this morning, and noticed Valve Maps was almost full (about 19/24 people, including idlers). I came back 2 hours later to find almost all the idlers gone, and the server had emptied out to 4/24!

Please don't kick people who you know have been idling for a long time, as they cannot rejoin the server once kicked. We're not popular enough to warrant that yet since every few rounds a few people will exit the server.
