In Need of Advice on a new Video Card

Title says all really.

I know next to nothing about Computers so here is my criteria, and if you can explain it all simply too :blushing: :

1. ANYTHING better than my old 9800gt

2. ?200 to spend

3. Able to play ArmA 2 without any issues

4. Easy to install (as in the same way as the 9800)

Main reason why I need a new card, has something to do with the fact the heat sink fan on the 9800 doesn't work any more and its also out of warranty.

Specs at the moment include:

Intel Quad Core @ 2.70 Hz
4GB of RAM
Windows Vista 32bit

GTX 460 to a GTX560ti (i think the 448 core version is a little over a budget but it's a great card and worth it)
 
Cloaked, that product will cost more than 200 Euros. Gotta remember shipping and handling. And Newegg doesn't ship to EU last I checked.

And i got to say. ITS BEAST. You can definatly find it for 200 euro's. Since euros are worth more then $$. :P Anyways. It can play BF3 on ultra settings. No over clock. so im almost positive you will have no problems playing any game out atm.

if you had 2 of those you could play on ultra 1920*1080...(friend has 2, with a 980x) unless your talking about lower resolution
 
Also, this is a ? "pound" sign, not a euro xD

What about ATI? I can get a good offer it seems on a 6870, though I have no idea if its worth it :P

The 6870 is also a very good card. Should work great for you.
 
Currently have two of XFX's 6950 (dual fan version), and they run BF3 on ultra @ 1920x1080 and doesn't get too hot or noisy even when overclocked.
Though two of those would go far beyond your 200 pound budget, one card should be affordable (got mine for 230 a piece 3 months ago). Not to mention it's Norwegian prices, which means it's expensive (6990 costs between 520 to 650).

As mentioned, a single 6950 has alot of power for the pricing, and while I'm unsure about performance compared to nvidia cards at the same price, it's one of the alternatives.
 
Ohhh that's now making me reconsider xD (buying Saturday when a tax rebate goes through)

Which one would you lot recommend?
