Day of Defeat Realism

<div style="width: 500px; text-align: center" align="center">Ever get tired of the lack of teamwork found in the servers? Ever wonder what this "Realism" is all about? Join us in intense battles using squad-based tactics, coordination, and strategy. DoD:S Realism has found a following from players in all divisions because of its unique game play, emphasis on teamwork, and the need to outwit one's enemy.

The structure of Realism relies on players listening to and obeying commands from the Tournament Administrators [TA] and each team’s Commanding [CO] and Executive [XO] officers. With weapon restrictions, squad leaders leading you in different routes, and friendly-fire enabled servers, you are immersed in realistic game-play like you've never experienced before. Success depends on your ability to work as a team, your ability to survive, and your motivation to kill.

Until the start of Realism Campaign 7 in February, the Day of Defeat: Source Division is hosting its original weekly Realism battles every Saturday at 8:00 PM EST.

Please take the time to review the Realism Handbook for additional information and visit the DoD:S General forums for updates on weekly events.

I am going to have to finally try this out! I hope to make it tomorrow!

I played this once, it's really fun. Definitely want to do it again.

ussually try and stay up any time I can for these, because they are awesome!

It is all about teamwork for realism and no matter what your skill level is a lot of fun.

I used to do a lot of realism back when I played the old DoD, definitely going to try and make it this Saturday. It is good to know realism is still around.
