NEW eGO main menu graphic for DoD:S

Hey guys,

If you have already seen my thread in the CS:S division board, you'll be pleasantly surprised that I went ahead and made a main menu GUI for DoD, specifically for you eGO DoD fanatics.

Here is a screenshot of what it will look like in game.

To install this, merely download the zip file HERE and put the VTF file, which is inside the zip, in this location:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\USER\day of defeat source\dod\materials\console

*note: you may have to create a folder named console within the materials folder.

After you put the background01_widescreen.vtf file inside the console folder, load the game and enjoy!

If you are encountering any problems, let me know so I can help you get this going.

Pretty funny, I saw that thread and was going to ask you to do a DoD:S one, but thought I remembered a division member doing this before so I didn't ask. Looks great though fps, thanks for doing that for us.

I tossed it in the dod folder and not in console and got it to work.

This may depend on your current resolution. If your rez is a different proportion than the VTF, it will not work.

Try changing the file name from "background01_widescreen" to just "background01". If this doesn't work, it may be due to other custom content that interferes with this.
