Great idea for our Counter Strike source Servers

Recently I've been talking to some leadership and upper admins about the possibility of combining dust1and 2 together in a server as well as office and high school on one server while leaving Italy to its own and most of the people I've talked to say its a good idea because we could get rid of the 2 servers by combining them as well it could raise our server rankings even higher So tell me what you guys think

Bad idea....... by losing servers we are losing potential members as well as other people who enjoy playing on our servers since the amount of people who can play on our servers at any one time becomes limited.


And before you say well increase the slots, having too many slots is also a bad thing because than people are waiting to re spawn longer and are losing out on playing time.

Yeah I would agree with Ramp on this one. Some people just don't like dust 1 or dust 2. Thats why we don't have rotation servers because people usually just like to play 1 map. Combining dust1/dust2 we would just lose people who despise dust 1 like myself. And have you ever been in dust2? those are some angry people.. rotating with dust1 would not go so well and that would mean 44 constant people we have in that server would probably drop significantly

I am also in agreement with Ramp on this one. We would lose players not only because we can only have so many people on at once, but also because, as penguin said, most people prefer one map. I for one can't stomach dust2 as I just don't like the map; however, I can handle dust. Similarly, I prefer office to highschool. Also, highschool and italy are completely different maps while dust/dust2 are at least the same environment (though entirely separate). All in all, I just don't think this would be a good idea.

I agree with Zimmy,penguin,and Ramp. We would have less people due to limited space. I like dust 2 but I don't really like dust1. In my opinion,It's not a good idea.

Not riding the bandwagon but I also agree with everyone else on top. I have never seen eGO have any sort of rotational servers, yet we manage to have full servers almost all the time. Why mess with success?

Dust 2 will not be changed from its current state. It is ranked in the top 20 servers in the world.

We run 24/7 non-rotation servers with the exception of Jail.
