Dont understand what SOPA/PIPA is? Here's a thread that tells you some stuff.

SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) in the house, and PIPA (Protect IP Act) in the senate are 2 very similar bills, and are both equally dangerous. Here's a couple videos on the subject.

TL;DR: SOPA and PIPA are 2 bills that give companys the power to literally remove any website they feel is contributing to Piracy. This can be used on Facebook, Google, Yahoo, Reddit, Youtube, Edge-gamers.com, and any other site that even just hosts an image of copyrighted content. It would literally break the internet.
