Since i havent not been able to play, i'm hoping this patch fixed my problem, BUT i was on the SWTOR website and it looks like this patch has failed and caused lots of problems for people with graphics settings, and the downloader is causing errors. What do you guys think? I know i'm gettin close to cancel my subscription since this game is running like beta, its a shame cuz i was like in love when this game came out.

Well i have it downloaded and installed and got to play for about 15 mins till i had to go back to work, so far no problems, but i did fight an invisible dude? haha He was shooting me so i autoattacked and killed him? haha looks like theres still some bugs to be fixed.

This could be a problem with you not meeting the minimum specs. When i was trying to play on a pc that didnt meet the minimum requirements I had this problem all the time.

I really dont understand why people cant understand that this game is still new and it was released ahead of when Bioware wanted to release it. EA pushed for a holiday release and Bioware had to oblige. I dont think it plays like a beta. Sure there are some issues here and there but its nowhere near as bad as a beta release is. Bioware seems commited as well to resolvng the issues by releasing almost weekly/daily patches to fix glaring issues discovered by the community. WoW was very glitchy and buggy in its original few weeks as well and now look where it is. I think you just have to be patient with a new game thats just finding its feet. Cancelling your subscription seems too hasty to me.

This has been one of the smoothest Beta/releases I have ever been a part of. Sure, people will have problems, but this game was put together well.

Won't be able to check out the patch until:

1. I get time to play this week/weekend
2. I get one of my 2 guys I'm playing to 50

If you are concerned with the game "running like a beta" then I would take a look at any other MMO that has released in the past 10 years...or ever. This is with out any doubt the smoothest large scale MMO release I have ever seen. Sorry that you are having these issues but it seems to work for most others and it seems that this first patch has updated many bug issues the game has had since release.

Looks like they completely borked PvP on Ilum, and possibly (pending BioWare's response), in general.

Essentially, many servers are experiencing Imperial Ops spawn-camping Repubs and getting excessive amounts of Valor. There's a lot of hyperbole and exaggeration, but also documented gains of up to 10 valor levels so far this morning.
