I have been having a lot of problems with my current ISP lately, I am paying top dollar for my fast adsl2 plan and my speed is between 1-4.5 mbps almost dial up speed. I am changing ISP in the near future and I could lose my connection for a few days, last time I changed it was 7 days. So if you don't see me for awhile, I will return. I was with the best ISP in Australia then they were taken over by the worst, who stated they would run both company's separate, but they lied, so I am now with the worst. Oh such is life, grin and bear it. :crying:

I didn't know fast ADSL existed. I hope your ISP transition goes swimmingly.

He said "swimmingly", lol, sorry Blue, it just looks funny in writing (also kinda funny to say). See ya in Kalt soon London, the sewers miss you.

It will happen any day now, It is not so much the lack of speed but a regular speed ,not one that goes up and down so much, and its the cost. I am paying top dollar for 200 gig download limit with fast adsl2 plan, when My new isp gets running I will get unlimited downloads and hopefully a faster speed, if the speed is the same I will be paying $30 dollars a month less, and as you know on a seniors pension that is a saving.
In Australia we have the most uneducated telco's you could imagine.

Data/bandwidth caps are a joke. Right now i pay 60/mo (no cap) for decent cable, around 9 mbps constant. We d/l mega gb per month too.ATT dsl is 25 bucks cheaper for top tier pack but they impose a bandwidth cap.:glare:
good luck bud
