DoD:S Recruiting Group / {R} Tag

As some of you may or may not have noticed the DoDS recruiting numbers have fallen a bit short this winter season from what we usually accomplish. This is mainly because of people being on vacation and gearing up for school again. Now that people are back in school and have their schedules pretty well worked out, we can now reboot our recruiting drive.

In the past we have mentioned how important recruiting is for our division, and seeing as we are 5 years into the game we need to work harder to keep our division strong. There are still lots of people playing this game, and tons of players going through our servers every day.

That being said, I will be rebooting our DoDS recruiting group and am now looking for people who are interested in recruiting and giving back to this community. We have had a recruiting group in the past that brought our monthly recruit numbers up over counter strike's for a couple months. This group was rather small and not a lot of effort was put into it. I would like to see how many recruits we can pull in for the next couple months if we double or even triple the efforts of the last recruiting group.

I would like to see all of our active members join this group and work together to bring in a lot of quality individuals. There are tons of people on our servers who would join eGO in a second, they just need to be asked. Its generally as simple as that. So if you are willing to help out, please fill out the following questionnaire and make a post in this thread. Anyone is welcome to fill out the application. Upon completion of this application you will be invited to the private Steam DoDS recruitment group. However, please note that applications are batch-processed in waves, in order to weed out inactive players from getting into the group. This allows me to easily see who is consistently active, so application processing might take anywhere from 24 hours to 4 weeks depending on the cycle.

The {R} Tag!

Alright guys,

As part of this recruiting initiative Ive been leading up I have decided to bring back the recruiting tag. The tag is simply {R} and goes at the end of your in-game name.

This tag will be required for those in our recruiting group except in rare cases (for example, names being too long to fit the tag, etc). So, if you are currently part of the DoDS Recruiting group on steam, please put the tag on. The point of this tag is to enable pubbers to know who to go for question-answering and guidance. When you put on the tag it does not mean more work per-say, but it sure does mean more responsibility, so wear it with that in mind, that you are a role-model for future recruits and hopefully current members as well. Also note that being a role-model does not mean bragging that you get to wear the tag. Anyone can apply to join this group and anyone who is caught bragging or acting in an elitist fashion in regards to the tag will be swiftly "dealt with".

If you would like to wear the {R} tag you MUST fill out the application template quoted directly above and wait until you are sent an invite on steam.
