hey guys im still here. if your my friend you might notice i dont have a tag. i still consider myself a ego member but i admin on RNL server that is "R" rated so i keep the tag off for obvious reasons. i would put it back on when i joined ego dod servers but i cant play dod because it crashes. i had the same problem on tf2 but i disabled the MOTD and it fixed it. But i dont know about dod. any suggestions? i do not like being able to play kalt at my choosing. plz any help would be awesome.

no its not the game its the dumb advertising that is hurting him. I have this problem as well from time to time.

Didn't Blue Stealth figure out a fix for this by reinstalling the Flash plugin or something? Might want to talk to him about that.

Yes I did. One of three things (or a combo) is out of date on your computer:

-DirectX
-Adobe Flash
-GPU Drivers

Please update all three. If you are unaware of how to do so, please contact me in ventrilo and have teamviewer installed and ready to use.

I had the exact problem and fixed it by disabling htmlmotd in dods console.the command you need is:
cl_disablehtmlmotd

change the default:
cl_disablehtmlmotd "0"

to:
cl_disablehtmlmotd "1"

and you are done. You can also change it in the config.cfg of the game or create an autoexec.cfg too.
(The config.cfg is in, for example, H:\Steam\steamapps\yoursteamusername\day of defeat source\dod\cfg )
