HALO?

any body play it? Just wondering if there was anyone in the clan that likes halo3 too. personally i love it and have a hard time balancing dod and halo3 into my day.

I had one go at it, while drunk at my friends house, 5 drunken people fighting over 2 controlers when someone dies is pretty insane.

Good game, i was rubbish at it though.

I loved the little purple crystal pistol thing

Halo is ok but i have a few problems with it.

Halo 1, 2 and 3 only had slight changes and improvments and kept very much the same.

The snipers are at a crazy advantage because the sight doesn't more while scoped.

You can no vary you speed while moving such as being able to run. (Helps Snipers)

The jump needs to be at least slightly lessened or you need to complete it faster.


Its an OK game all and all but it is topped by games like Gears of War, Call of Duty and of course DOD.

Very valid complaints....but it all boils down to whether the game is fun or not. I've gotten plenty of hours of enjoyment from local multiplayer despite the game's shortcummings.

Although the Halo games do have their upsides and downsides, I really like the games, and find much fun in playing them (I still play Halo 1 every now and again, if that is any indicator of how fun I find it to be).

I have a 360, but have not purchased Halo 3 yet. I still don't know if I even will. I had both Halo 1 and Halo 2, but never really played them that much I'm more excited for games like Fable 2 and Dead Rising 2.
