so... since i have resently started enjoying the yu-gi-oh card game :D but... i only have one person to duel... who currently can't find his deck o.o but i digress, i was just wondering who else enjoys playing yu-gi-oh :P (... that and i got 90 new cards today lol... which i only put 7 in my dueling deck XD) also i also thought of interesting event for eGO members that like yu-gi-oh... but uh, helps if we know how many people like the card game vs just the cards lol (if there is already a post or poll or something for yu-gi-oh lol)

Oh man. I have a deck of about 3k cards. The Original ones. Not the newer ones.

Mine are from about 3 weeks since the first yuh gi oh show aired. Brings back memories. I have almost ever OG card. Cards that you cant even find/buy anymore. I might sell my decks though. Im too old to play it anymore

I used to play yu-gi-oh..... When I was like 2nd-3rd grade. I remember how this 3rd grader scammed me, and I got really pissed off at him. :bored:

i use to be a big fan i had all the exodia cards in deck
and this website you can play online for free http://www.duelingnetwork.com/

i find playing with the actual cards is alot more fun than online... besides when playing with the actual cards you can make up your own rules (example: no need for ritual spell card, just requirement of card)
btw, i prefer the original generation cards more than the newer ones (the generation where elemental heros and stuff like that are exeptions to my rule because yugi was techincly still around/alive, and i think joey dueled a guy with the red eyes darkness dragon, which i have 2 of :D.... i don't completely remember which generation that was though lol)

bah, can't edit posts on my 3ds... (which is, yes, what ive been typing with lol) but to sum up what i editted was: when they removed yugi as the main character in the show of, you guessed it, yu-gi-oh, the popularity of the cards went down, and down further when 5d's came out... cuz i think yugi and everyone else died at that point... seeing the difference in vehicle structure lol.... they never really cleared that up, but seeing how xexal(i mostlikely spelled it wrong cuz i really don't care for it) the entire building, dueling, and other such is more futuristic (i like how they kept the duel disks though lol)... also... xyz summoning? really? they realise there are older monsters had x y and z versions as well as a xyz fusion form lol.... but im striding away from my point... (ironicly, me and my brother predicted that after they removed yugi, the cards and the show would lose popularity... we were kinda right lol... only i managed to keep my love of the game... for more of the older generations anyway)

....i guess you can say when they removed yugi from the show, it became "oh... (insert generation title here)" -insert troll face here-

(not really summed up... like.... at all... or even close to being summed up is it?..... ill just shut up now... it's midnight for me lol)

I remember this time when I traded a Jellyfish for a really rare and powerful trap. That guy still denies he let that happen to this day.

I was never really into yu gi oh cards, but pokemon cards were the buzz in my younger days. Used to own several decks, I think I still have them laying around somewhere.

to be honest i was wondering if anyone still plays with the actual cards... mainly like around minnesota lol but i was also thinking of like some kinda eGO trading card game get-together type of thing lol ....yu-gi-oh is the only one i like lol... and ill honest, i find the pokemon trading card game very... well needed BUT THEN AGAIN pokemon came first..... er.... right? i was alive when pokemon gold and silver (and crystal, which i got and still have lol) came out for the game boy color... so... i never got to play the card game first...blame my parents o.o lol

and it also appears that even when typing on my ds i STILL type paragraphs and novels instead of nice short forum posts lol

I used to. Still have my deck. Don't remember how to play at all, I stopped playing long before I even started playing Magic.
