Perhaps it's always been this way, but I'm having a really hard time PvPing on my Sorc.
I'm madness spec (love my DoTs) with chain lightning on the other side. In PvE I'm a ripping good guy to have in group putting out nice, flat constant damage.
It started out fine, but as I increased in level, it got worse. I remember leveling, and at level 48 a level 17 jedi was soloing me critting for 3k a pop. His normal hits were over 1k. Even at 50 I've never done a 3k crit.
I know my gear is more alacrity and not crit, but I should be able to pump some nice damage out and control someone. As is, I'm getting roasted right fast at 50. While I only have 3 pieces of PvP gear (just got there), I shouldn't always be such an easy kill.
For instance, with static barrier up, as in put it up BEFORE I get hit by a Merc missile or a jedi blade, I still get 1-2k damage. What good is bubble in PvP when they all can bypass it? I rarely see "absorb".
Anyone have any tips? Or a standard rotation that works? SWTOR have all sorts of nice things, but to be honest, they vary way too much.
I am unable to solo anyone at my level. I at least should be competitive. Is my gear just flat out that shitty or did I pick the wrong class for PvP?
Oh, and I tried healing in PvP . . . what a waste.
