Retro Gaming Revisited: My top 10 SNES Games

I can't believe no-one mentioned Mortal Kombat. One of the best games ever. Killer Instinct was also good, Street Fighter, Donkey Kong, Mega Man, Super Mario, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Those are all that I can think of off the top of my head for the moment.

first game i played for SNES was TMNT..i thought the graphics were so amazingg!! at that time..lol

Oh man that was a great game! They "re-shelled" it on xbox live arcade a couple years ago. I was ecstatic to download it but then discovered it was a remake of the arcade version, not the SNES one.

The big 3 fighting games have been mentioned! Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter II and Killer Instinct! MK and KI were too "violent" so my folks wouldn't let me get them, but I played a ton of Super Street Fighter II as a kid!

Anyone ever play 7th Saga? I never played it but it looked real cool.

PS: FPS You're getting ahead of me lol! None of those are SNES games! Still great games though!

I was terrible at this game for SNES, but I loved it so...

Also, what did everyone think of Kirby: The Crystal Shards for N64? I thought in many ways that was the culmination of all things Kirby.

I sunk so many hours into this game in my younger years. Trying to find all the stuff in the levels, lots of attempts at doubling powers and combining two together...ah, the memories. Both it and "Dream Land" set me on a path of loving Kirby games. I've gotten away from them in recent years, thinking about picking up Epic Yarn or Return To Dream Land once I hit the lotto and win a bunch of money.

It's not SNES but I just bought a version of the first Final Fantasy on my PSP. I've never played the game before and decided to finally do it.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Definitely greatest game I played on my Genesis.

And FF1 is good.

FF1 is one of my favorite nes games. Watch out for WarMech in the last dungeon

*ahem* I have never played an english version of the game. I knew I was doing something to fight Cell in the one I played and that was it. I didn't know any other characters and the game had Bojack and people from his crew in it. It was a weird game.
