How do you recruit?

Greetings fellow Sith,

I serve the Empire on Dreshdae Cantina as a level 50 Sith Juggernaut and a level 50 Sith Inquisitor.

I'm trying to start my own guild. I noticed people respond better to recruitment if you talk as a real Officer versus a regular person.

This is how I do it:
1) Approach a Player.
2) Wave at the player. If the player doesn't respond, move on. If player respond, continue below.
3) Whisper the Player. "Lord, what is your allegiance? Sith or Republic?
4) Player will respond Sith, where you respond with "Would you be willing to serve the Empire in its illustrious greed for domination and power across galaxies?"
5) Player responds yes, invite player to guild.
6) Follow up with the player, asking if the player needs guild help with quests. Chat with the players in the guild by initiating conversations that start with "For the Empire!"

Warning: You must have Mind Control and a high level of persuade, you must also be a Sith for this to work. Jedi have no chance in our conquest.

So, my question is this..How do you "properly" recruit? Do you advertise? Mail random players? My ways of recruiting won't sustain for much longer, and I don't hurt eGO by asking for advice, as I don't even play in the server eGO does.

Sorry if there's some thread about efficiently recruiting and thanks for your time.

What I do is Raid with people and at the end (if it is a successful raid that is) I ask if they want to join or not. We probably got 3 people from this and it helps out raiding at the same time. Running flashpoints with guildies and leave one spot open and pug it, this way you can show the person how awesome you guys are (We got our main tank from this). These methods work but it requires people to help you out. Another one you can do is random low level questing and get people without guilds

Do you guys do world bosses too?

Someone told me I should contact guildless people after killing a world boss, since those groups are fairly big for obvious reasons. But my thing is, I don't want people to think the guild just wants to recruit and leave you alone. I want people to actually have a home and friends online when they come to play TOR, so I wanna stay away from directly asking everyone to join the guild.

I don't know if that even makes sense..O_O

edit:
Another person told me I should manage the guild daily. As in, make the today's quest to be getting the most holograms for a reward or doing the most Heroics and Flashpoints in 1 day for a reward, etc.

Is that probable?

In the late night hours that I am playing chat is usually dead. Usually what I've done is when a player asks "any guilds recruiting?" I reply with "eGO Republic is always recruiting, let me tell you what we're about."

I give a brief summary and if they're interested I send them a guild invite. It was funny last week because I couldn't invite and then had to scramble to find someone that could.

That's how I do it. If I was running my own guild (on a different server) I would probably come up with some humorous Star Wars themed banter. I might not even directly recruit, I'd say something like "Another successful day for Lobot's Lunatics, what a great guild!" in general chat once or twice a day.

Also, it's all in the name. You gotta have a cool guild name. Whether it's humorous or a serious one, it definitely has to have a Star Wars theme. So far my favorites I've come across are "The Nerf Herders" and "Wraith Squadron."

I ninja them, i say "hey lemme give you this stim." but instead of a trade window, i have an officer send them a guild invite. Works every time.

(if you couldn't tell i'm joking, i really just ask if they wanna join, they say yeah, i go bug med/seablade)
