Movie Nights

I was checking the forums and saw that there was a lack of ideas for a monthly movie night. I would be willing to host a movie night once a month if people are interested. I'm not 100% sure of the legal issues involved, but as far as I know since I'm not charging for viewing it isn't illegal. If people are interested, let me know and I'll find the time to show movies.

Well legally you'll only be able to stream films that are in public domain. Other than that, streaming copyrighted material will land you in hot water...whether or not you're charging for it is irrelevant.

Even if you were going to stream movies, it would be safer to do it on a separate password protected website with special permissions... I wouldn't tie anything back to eGO.

I don't think the Council wants to raise any red flags.
