Elvania Raiding

[Elvania]

My main computer is currently not working, it isnt picking up my internet connection (via cable) and the only reason i can come up with is that the connection port in the back of the computer has broken. I am not going to be able to raid for about another 2-4 weeks but once my computer is working again i will inform you.

Sorry for any loss of raids this might cause, if you have any suggestions on how i can fix this please reply.

Have you tried another ethernet cable? They do break down from time to time.

Also, if you haven't already, powering off your modem and router then powering them back on after a few minutes can't hurt.

Open up the computer and check the connections that go to the Ethernet port, if everything looks right but it still doesn't work, and you consider yourself technically proficient you could attempt to replace the port, even a half assed job would hold you over till a proper fix. If you have access to fast wireless internet, I would suggest a wireless card, fairly easy to install and should hold you over.

I have tryed 3 different internet cables in each of the ports on the back of the modem. might also tryed restarting the router several times. i think it has just burnt out, might be getting a new pc this week tho. i will keep you guys informed.
