SoCal Meetup?

I'm in.. on four conditions:

1. It'll have to be around summer (Still in physical therapy for my shoulder injury and school is taking a bunch of my time)
2. We go to Disneyland.
3. Sumac shows up
4. Skippy wears sunglasses and pretends to be blind so he can bring Skippy Jr. in to Disneyland
 
i go every 2 weeks with my gf... -__- gets kinda old, i mean, thats just me hahaa 3 and skippy wanted to hit yellow balls around with spart
 
no time for a job, sorrrrrrrry :) .... so you are holding a raffle for Disneyland tickets? Great idea!

As long as it isn't in Burbank... Jebus, what the hell were those people thinking, lol. Too bad the rest of you guys aren't in to tennis, it's pretty good when you know how to play :)

As for Disneyland... I generally don't mind the idea of it. Just give a fair amount of notice so I can request the day off ;)
With Stormy in recovery... maybe we'll be able to get a golfcart to drive around Disneyland instead, for the disabled you know ;)

Would be more than awesome to join up too, but those few thousand miles are quite long way to travel. (If even this foreign newcomer would be accepted to the meeting in first place :D)

Sure thing! Heck, I've been talking to Sumac and we both agree if you're anywhere in or near California then save up your money. I say we go to Disneyland at the very least but we're even talking about getting a hotel somewhere central, going to Disneyland, going shooting, and maybe hitting up a casino.

well, by then, i'll be working at disney. i just got an email for an interview and a time sooo.... i guess i'll be serving you bbq there lol

I'm all about this guys. For me in needs to be after tax season and hopefully not too late in the summer when I have started studying for the CPA exam.

If we can get enough people interested we might be able to get some group rates. Let's make this happen is sounds like a nice way to unwind.
 
Hmm...One of you work out a Texas meet up, then i'll think about it. Someone mentioned on the Facebook page about Quakecon.
 
Sumac, were you interested in like Disneyland Resort Hotel rates or just like a regular local hilton Sheraton or comfort inn etc.
 
Umm... someone mentioned JohnT having done some Cali meet up before...

Anyone wish to ask him if he's interested seeing as we're looking to get all SoCal people around for this shindig if it goes down?

Seems like Disneyland is currently the favorite... not bad at all ;)
