It's weird... I love Rozen Maiden, but I highly dislike figma. I must be a bad person. I love the characters and the designs and all, but ugh. I just can't bring myself to figma. Are they really enjoyable? D:

ALSO. I need some help with shelves. I can't find a decent one for cheap, so I'm planning on making one this weekend hopefully. Any tips (if you've built em?)

They're relatively inexpensive and the quality is good plus they usually come with a bunch of accessories. They're good to start off with when you first get into this.
 
The Miku 2.0 figma that I ordered at the beginning of the month finally showed up.
I took her out of the box and removed the plastic.
Went to check the articulation on the joints and found that the left hair joint was loose.

Maybe GSC will be nice and send me a replacement hair joint.
 
That's the one with the mini guitar and wings right? I've tried getting parts for when they are loose or the holes aren't fully made...they deny me, so I use my own tools to fix. Maybe you'll have better luck gettin a replacement.

I'm not sure how I could try repairing the joint myself. It would be one thing if the was stuck or didn't fit properly, but the two pieces of the joint are loose. Not sure how to even fix that.
 
Big package showed up yesterday. I knew this was a big figure, but I wasn't expecting this big.

The figure itself is kind of small but pretty well detailed. The joints are a little stiff, but that's nothing to complain about.

It took me a about 25 minutes to get this put together.

As I said before, the figure is beautifully detailed but really fragile. I felt like she was going to fall apart if I touched her. I could put some clear nail polish on the joints to get some more grip.

The figma?
It's glorious. Only thing is that it's the hardest of all the figmas that I have to pose. Just something about it that doesn't want to pose right.

I love the new shoulder articulation that they used on her.
