Greetings everyone. I will be gaming a bit more here in the next month or so. I was taking a break due to class and other events, but I was looking at SW:TOR. I see that you are all on the Point Nowhere server, but I had 1 main question. Whats the better side? Sith or Republic?

Now dont get me wrong, I am a big SW nut, I was just asking due to the quest lines, population per side, ect. Whatever side I do join, I will be leaning toward the dark side. :P
 
I don't know about the republic side but the empire side generally has more people online population wise. At least that is what most people have been complaining about on the ST:TOR forums.
 
In general the Empire has more people. So if you don't want to wait for pvp warzones to pop then go republic.

As for storylines. I don't know, they're all probably pretty awesome, just play both sides!
 
republic has been alot of fun, we have alot of people playing diff. toons all the time and people just enjoying the game and not rushing to 50 . we have a few 50 's now,we do stuff all the time. im a star wars fan too and i figured i always wanted to be a han solo or jedi anyway so i went tht way. the trooper class, look realy kewl and i enjoy my dual welding jedi.

i would not restrict myself to just playing one side. there are alot of story lines.
but i am bias and say Republic All the Way B#%$*s!!! :w00t:
 
As someone who leveled on the empire to 50, and plays with alot of people of the same ilk, I would suggest Empire. The stories on the Empire side are mind-blowing, and most Imperial lvl 50's I know find the Republic stories to be somewhat dry in comparison. This may be a perspective Issue, but do remember that in SWTOR Republic or Empire doesn't mean good or evil. Light and Dark side exist for both. To be honest you have to ask yourself who you are. For me, I saw the espionage and behind-the-scenes action as what I would probably get out of an Agent, so i trusted my gut and went with it. Hotdarn it gave me everything i expected and more.

The consensus I am hearing about the stories is that generally the dark side stories are better. That being said I am maining a trooper and I am really digging his story.

Other things I am hearing is that Empire outnumber Republic across the board on every server. We are always looking to grow on the Republic side, our dear friends in eGO Empire have more people at 50 and are even placing bounties on us!
