I don't know if this is really "tech Talk" but if its not, please feel free to move it to where the mover think it belongs
I am planning to go on a week trip with my school, to Washington DC.
I heard the trip was alot of fun, from the people who went last year, so I decided to show my parents the info about it. I thought they would decline it, being over 1000$. It seems like that was part of my christmas present.
Since I really been into PC gaming now, I decided I want to build my own computer. Problem is that the trip in total is 1600$, and just by that, my parents won't spend alot of money on a gaming PC for me.
Now, some backstory before I go into the main point
My mom bought a Macbook this xmas (she is very busy with planning stuff for church and work), and gave my sister her old, home computer PC, which is 10x better than mine.
She doesn't use it at all, and my mom never trusts me around electronics, since she thinks I break everything, when there is a simple fix to it.
Like one time, I played her computer too much, and I blew up her hardrive.
She went to Geeksquad, and she paid 500$ for a fix. All she needed was a new Hardrive. And I also think she didn't have her software key.
Tl;DR Main point is, how can I get the cooperation for my parents (plus myself) to get my PC?
My wanting to get build. Tell me if I should upgrade. Under 700 would be good
