I'm working out some technical difficulties, hence my recent hiatus from playing. Every time I try and start up Steam, it logs in, then shows me outlines of the main and friends window that never load or respond, before finally closing itself. I'm about to do a fresh reinstall, so I'll see if that does anything. Anyone had this problem before?

Can't say that i have, my problems usually stem from a firewall issue, appdata being wrong and having to erase it or the registry.

When I have issues with the client I just re-name or delete the client blob file and it fixes itself by generating a new one.

I have had the problem before but it has fixed it self
