I just received my used cpu in the mail. It is a AMD Phenom II X4 945. I've looked on asus's website about my motherboard. (http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM2Plus/M3N72D/#CPUS) I see that it says that cpu is supported but I just need to be sure. The cpu I got is a AM3 socket and my motherboard is an AMD AM2+/AM2 platform. I needed to replace my other cpu to play Battlefield 3. Will this work? Thank you.
