Trouble Connecting to game server

Ive been trying to connect to both Ava and Donner server, but I kept getting stuck at downloading materials/decals/custom/zalman..

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

try downloading the content manually of the internet, i remember there was some console command that helped me with a simlar problem, the commands were cl_allowupload 1 or 0 and cl_allowdownload 1 or 0, try tweaking those and see how it works out, as i said i had a simlar problem back when i played dod and it worked fine... tell me if the problem still provails and il try to help you further

have you tried reinstalling the game?? that works most of the times..
or it may be your connection?? do you experience any other issues with your internet connection other than in day of defeat?

there's no problem with internet connection. I will try reinstalling the game. I can connect to other DOD servers tho except EGO servers..

Reinstalling DOD didn't work! =(
