TF2 lock ups while playing

Join server, Play for 2-5 minutes, game will freeze for 5-10 seconds, game resumes where I was when the lock up happened and I'm usually dead.


I built a new rig on Christmas: I7-gtx580-16gb ram-ping usually in the 20's.


I have tried almost everything and nothing helps.


Any ideas?
