Question about Garrys Mod

Hey guys, I just got on Gmod and noticed that there was an update. I got in game, and was about to make a cool battle seen, but whenever I would move away from the ragdolls, they would start to fade away, and that took the whole point of what i was doing away. Did this come with the update? Every prop thats used starts to fade away as you get farther away from it, and that didnt happen before the update. Is there a way to 'turn' this off? Is there a way to make it so that the props and ragdolls stay visible from long distances? Thanks!

Try putting this command into the console:

r_screenfade_mindistance 0

If that doesn't work, I'll look more into it.. it might be your video card. What video card do you have? From what I understand, lower quality video cards have a hard time rendering so many objects at once in GMod.

I dont think its my video card, because it never used to do this. But what do I know, I know nothing about computers lol.
