goodbye impersonators

ok gusy here is my idea. i believe it can be done and it would be awesome if it was. My idea is that we lock tags on our servers. After a member is accepting into the clan his steam id will be allowed on this server with our tag infront of his name. What this would do is eliminate all those impersonators that have been annoying us. Therefore you can not wear an edge tag without having been accepted as a member. Let me know what you guys think.

Because of this, a new system will be implemented which will not allow players to wear eGO tags without authorization. This server plugin will begin testing the morning of Sunday March 29th on select servers. If you are not an admin and are wearing =(eGO)=, =(eG)= you will be instantly kicked requiring a name change. After repeat kicks the individual will be banned.

With the new "name checker" on the way some of us will be losing letters off of our name. The =(eGO)= tag with the TM takes 11 spaces. I am sure this will affect several members as well. House tags take up another 4 on average, that doesn't leave many characters left. Is there any other alternative?? Do the hackers always have to win ...

why would a new thing make it so your name cant be as long...nothing is being done to make our names longer...nothing that already hasnt been done that is.

I was in a clan in CS 1.6 that has this system, btw.

At the bottom it says that was an eg/eGO only post. So since hes an e Im guessing he couldn't.
