Please Welcome ...

I missed it!?! No one tells me anything anymore... Welcome! And everyone remember unicorns make the sound "Tweet Tweet"

I grew up on Doom, Castle Wolfenstein, Duke Nukem, Mortal Kombat, and other such games and I am a perfectly fine. I'm sure she will grow up just fine. And Tom, stop taking trains to places and be on line more. :P

The newest member to the hat division (and the youngest member of eGO) Mumin45...

...she also happens to be my daughter. :3

Give her a warm welcome, and if you see her on the servers (yes, she will actually be playing) be nice to her :D

No mercy!

Another student for hat trading and burning us? O_o oh gawd... anyways welcome.

Another pyro? Good to know you've got someone to watch your back Uma. My knife will miss it's conversations with your heart.. And spleen.. I have bad aim sometimes :P

Anyway, Welcome :D Remember, when in doubt, Backburners out :)

Epigram On Miss Davies

On being asked why she had been formed so little, and Mrs. A--so big.

Ask why God made the gem so small?
And why so huge the granite?--
Because God meant mankind should set
That higher value on it.

Burns

Pretty much the same here, except Wolfenstein (wee bit before my time, but not much). I went through middle and high school playing Duke and Q3 on the school's computers behind the higher-ups backs for fun. Nothing like a large LAN in Q3 for your entire computer science class on a "study day". :w00t:

Of course I think Tenchu: Stealth Assassins kind of did some kind of permanent thing to me, I still skulk around in the shadows stabbing people from behind...:glare:

Honestly it's her decision what she thinks is right/wrong for her kid at what time, that's not where the problem lays. The problem lies with the parents who don't really give a dang what their kid is playing.

Oh, I care. I care a lot, mind you. Do I want her playing games like Doom and Wolfenstien at age 3? No. Do I see a difference, yes. Do some other people? Probably not. But its like, I let her watch Futurama, but I won't let her go and watch a R rated movie with sex, gore, and violence. TF2 has people exploding into tiny pieces, yeah, but its cartoony violence. Idk, I see a distinction between that and realistic games like CS and DOD, which I wouldn't let her play. Maybe you agree, maybe you don't, then again, I was playing Doom at the age of 7. *Shrug* lol

I agree with you, It's ultimately your decision what she can and cannot play.

I personally welcome her to eGO, and pray to god that i don't get dominated by her, that would be a bit embarrassing.

You know that it will happen though.
