Well I some how got the beta for Global Offensive. Don't ask me how I got it because I don't even know. It just appeared in my library on Steam and ah you didn't know how excited I was. Everyone is jealous :p . But yeah I got some screenshots for you guys for the new guns and redone maps. These are just for people who have not seen any Beta game footage or anything like that.

My Review: The game is totally the opposite of CS:S. If you were looking forward to the game being just more updated textures and not much game play change, than this game is not for you. It is a totally new game. It is much more realistic. I'm still trying to get used to it because it just shoots different than you would expect, but its a fantastic game. To me it kind of feels like type of DoD/BF mix game play. The graphics are amazing , the sounds for the all the guns are a lot smoother and sound nicer. I think this game will definitely be a big hit.
You will see from the screenshots they added your teams Steam Avatars on the top and it shows your teams health. I think that is a very cool feature. Also the knew knifing motion is awesome.
Also with a lot more guns to come out still, I can't wait for the final release.

A must buy for when it comes out. It is really fun.

I got to play it today as well thanks to penguin. It really is a lot of fun and not just a bunch of updated textures. Not much have changed on the stock maps except some model upgrades and details. But I agree, it is definitely a different experience from CS:S, same play style, different feel. It takes some getting used to but I enjoyed it. Thanks for the pictures penguin!

I'm very happy with inferno's A and B being put back to normal! Good stuff!

Can't wait to play it upon release. Thank you for the screenshots penguin.
 
I got it today. I have played a few hours and although it is very different from CS:S, I still like it. We'll see how it goes..
 
I think global offense is going to be terrible and console based so no real point and no mods will be aloud most likely so just wanted to put my opinion.

Why do you think that it is going to be this way? Just wondering. :blushing:
 
I think jail will be fun, it will open us up to a lot more chance to griefers though...
