I was shopping @ Best Buy for a new keyboard, specifically the [link=http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8022891&type=product&id=1156607399961]Saitek, Eclipse II[/link]. It was a fine replacement to my 1995, 101-key keyboard that I got with my original 90Mhz Pentium back when Windows 95 was released. Holy Cow. I had that keyboard for 13 years. It had the old AT style connector that I adapted to PS/2. Wow. Who uses PS/2 keyboards these days? Anyways, the new keyboard is awesome.
But also during my shopping experience, I saw the [link=http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8313595&st=razer&lp=5&type=product&cp=1&id=1174694191542]Razer DeathAdder: Infrared Gaming Mouse[/link]. Now I have never had a gaming mouse, I was currently using as MS optical mouse that I had for years. I thought this mouse can do 1800 dpi!, I have to try this out. This mouse is awesome! It is so smooth, feels so natural. I am playing DOD with a whole different play. Things seem smoother, plus with the new keyboard. I feel like I have a whole new experience.
Anyways, just wanted to share my latest gaming peripherals.
w00t w00t, see you on the killing fields.
