From the moment man first discovered fire, his only concern was, "How can I use this to ruin someone else's life?" And appropriately so! Just look at all the ways that fire is destructive, not the least of which includes how your aunt from the bayou always makes burnt biscuits that she insists "are just blackened."

Time hasn't been kind to pyromaniacs, though. With all these new-fangled miniguns and rocket launchers, how is anyone supposed to feel their heart warmed by the simple joys of life like the London Fire in 1666 or the Chicago Fire of 1871? Doesn't anyone have respect for classical studies of the Great Fire of Rome in 64? It's enough to make you want to drop your propane and propane accessories.

But fear not! Now you can carry on in the fine tradition of such illuminating figures as William Tecumseh Sherman by attending tonight's Pyro Training Class! In just one hour, you, too, could be the next Prometheus! Be in the events server at 68.168.100.122:27015 at 7 EST, 6 CST, 5 MST, 4 PST today, Saturday, February 25 and learn from the finest (at self-advertising, at least)! The password will be blaze.

Come find out what makes all those arson charges worthwhile. You'll be able to say with conviction to your friends that you're another Nero or Mrs. O'Leary's cow. Who wouldn't be jealous of that?

I give this a  :D And who couldn't benefit from learning how to learn to be a little more annoying honestly? I will be there!

I think Uma has reached the peak of her annoyance already:P

Especially when she hurts my feeling with "I hate your face" comments:(

Pyro = Worst And Most Noob
Soldier = Noble And Good Class

All I Have To Say

Your face is very annoying.
Plus, I need to work on my reflecting. I used to have an 70% reflect rate, now its down to like 30%. Donno what happened there. =/

Pyro training?

Isn't that like teaching someone how to breathe?

Soldiers FTW!!!

I don't need to go I am already too good as it is

But I should pass on my knowledge to others so I will come

The only real thing you can teach about pyro is reflecting, the rest is the players common sense. You need to try to flank and ambush the enemy if possible, airblast medics away from their uber partner, and constantly spy check. You really cant teach spy checking or flanking, thats something that isnt pyro specific. Are we just going to be airblasting solly rockets or huntsman arrows?

wrong, theres plenty of things that can be taught about the pyro. I hosted a pyro training class a little under a year ago with thereven and everyone learned quite a lot from it.

Explain what I missed, unless your going to go into specifics about weapon mechanics or the difference in weapons, which I did forget to mention. Most other things a pyro should know are also things most other classes should know and arent pyro specific. Not saying theres nothing to teach about pyro, but unless you go indepth about the weapon mechanics or start talking about the pros or cons of playstyles, its mostly your skill with airblasting and your situational awareness and decision making that determine whether your a good pyro or not. An example would be deciding when to chase someone who is fleeing and when to back off, or knowing to not chase an enemy pyro who is backpeddling while using the flamethrower. I may be completely wrong, but pyro has very few mechanics that require indepth analysis.
