Hey folks. I'm sorry for being MIA lately.
When I started playing, a RL friend of mine and 2 of our friends from DCUO were going to play SWTOR. I tried to get them to our server, but one guy had WoW friends that were playing on the Saber of Exar Khun server. I figured I'd let them stew a while and hope to entice them over to our server if/when their guild died out.
Turns out, the reverse happened. More and more of the DCUO people were getting bored of DCUO and joining them in SWTOR.
So, long story short, my gaming time is pretty slim these days due to mass amounts of work piling up. I'm currently on the tail end of two large-scale software development projects that I'm running solo, with a third starting up soon. What little time I do get to play, I've been spending with them.
On the plus side, they only play Empire characters, so I'll still be keeping my Republic characters on Port Nowhere to play with you guys. But, as I mentioned before, my playtime is negligible right now.
Maybe some time down the road we'll see some free server migrations and I can see about getting them to our server, but for now 75% of my playtime will be on the other server.
I'd appreciate it if I could still be considered a part of the Republic side, though. When my playtime increases, I'll be spending more time working on those characters. I already have a pair in the high 20s (Sage and Trooper) that I'm having a lot of fun with.
Again, sorry for the disappearing act. If I had more playtime I'd be playing on both servers, but I'm so far behind them as it is with having to start over there when they were all in their 30s already.
